Effective 30 July 2026
Terms of service
The terms on which Sentr is provided.
01
Who these apply to
These terms are between you and Sentr LLC. By using this website, joining the waitlist, or using the product, you agree to them.
02
What Sentr does
Sentr reads communications a business already receives and keeps that business’s customer records current. Where enabled, it replies by text on the business’s behalf. It does not place voice calls.
03
Your responsibilities as a customer
If you use Sentr to message the people who contact you, you are the sender of those messages, and you are responsible for:
- Collecting valid consent before any number is messaged, using wording equivalent to that in our SMS consent policy, with an unchecked checkbox that is never pre-ticked or bundled.
- Honouring opt-outs. Sentr processes STOP automatically, but you may not route around it or re-add a number that opted out without fresh consent.
- Not sending marketing or promotional campaigns through Sentr. The programme is registered as transactional and conversational, and misuse puts the registration at risk for every customer on it.
- Complying with the TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and any other law that applies to you.
04
Acceptable use
You may not use Sentr to send unlawful, deceptive, or harassing messages, to contact numbers you have no consent for, or in any of the categories carriers prohibit outright. We may suspend an account immediately where we believe messaging is putting our registration or other customers at risk.
05
Availability
Sentr is in build. The waitlist is not an offer of service, no service level is promised at this stage, and features described on this site may change before launch.
06
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sentr is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
